I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges. Holding a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Counseling from Lamar University, I approach therapy with a whole-person perspective, emphasizing the mind-body connection.
In addition to my work as a therapist, I currently serve as a school counselor, supporting students in overcoming academic, emotional, and social challenges. In this role, I work closely with adolescents, providing individual counseling, facilitating group therapy, and collaborating with parents and educators to create a supportive environment for student success. This experience allows me to connect with young people and understand the unique challenges they face in both academic and personal realms.
I specialize in working with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting, school issues, and relationship challenges. I use Neurophysiological Trauma Treatment, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and somatic therapy to guide clients toward healing and emotional resilience.
I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families, fostering a warm, empathetic, and safe environment where clients can explore their struggles and unlock their inner strengths. My goal is to help each client develop practical coping strategies, improve emotional well-being, and strengthen their relationships.
I believe that true healing involves addressing the mind, body, and emotions. By focusing on the whole person, I help clients connect with their inner resources and find balance in their lives.
To accommodate various schedules, I offer after-school, evening, and Saturday appointments.
